The Endotracheal(ET) Tube Holder(with or without bite block) provides a convenient means to hold an oral endotracheal tube securely in place without the use of adhesive tape. The oral endotracheal tube holder allows repositioning of the Endotracheal tube in either direction along the track without removal of the device.

Indications and Intended Use       

The oral endotracheal tube holder is indicated for use by healthcare professionals in securing oral endotracheal tubes ranging in size from 5.0 to 10.0mm inner diameter. The suitability of the oral endotracheal tube holder must be assessed for each patient.

Precautions

1. Be sure to frequently assess patient since wear time varies by patient.

2. To minimize the risk of pressure injury, inspect the patient’s lips, skin and oral cavity at least every two hours or more frequently if the patient’s condition dictates.

3. Patients with facial hair may lack the necessary support to anchor the skin barrier pad.

4. Stop using the device if redness, skin irritation or pressure injury occurs.
